In addition to editorial work, I’ve shot assignments for resorts, wineries, architects, Olympus Cameras and Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
I have been working as a photographer since 1981, exploring this wonderful world with photography as my passport. I started out as a staff newspaper photographer, then turned to freelance.
My life as a freelance photographer began in 1986. My first book, “A Century of Seasons: Colorado’s Centennial Farms & Ranches” told the stories of some of Colorado’s early settlers and was published in 1994 .
The following year, I began an association with the National Geographic Society that continues to this day.
I love teaching photography and introducing people to new cultures. Information about my Chiapas Photo Tours or Guatemala Photo Tours can be found at Magical Light Adventures.
I’m now based in New Mexico, working for local, national and international clients.
